Branding

Question from one of our subscribers:

Me again – sorry to ask so many questions (hope to be in a position to assist someone one day once I actually have some knowlege to impart!)…

If I were to purchase unbranded items of clothing – would I be able to sew in my own labels – ‘Brand them’ so to speak or are there any legalities I should consider? Obviously I will ask the suppliers permission first.

Answer:

Hi!

on the off chance that the names are uprooted and incorporate material/origin levels and so on then you can’t uproot them unless you include names with the original details. In the event that it’s a standard brand/name mark then you can remove it.

Hope this helps!
